CUP RULES

No Player will be allowed to play in any of the following Competition Semi-finals or Finals unless He / She has played at least three (3) League Games. The current BCGBA Dress Code must be adhered to for all finals.

 

Arthur Davies Merit Knockout:- Prelims to be played by Division  and Final to be composed of winner and runner up from Divisions

A B & C plus the winners of Division D & E total 8 Qualifiers.

a.     Teams must send a representative (Merit Winner) to play in the Arthur Davies Memorial Cup, failing to do so will incur a fine of £5.00 (Merit Winners are the Clubs Choice)

 

D V L Singles Knockout:- To be played by Division if enough entries are received.

 

D V L Pairs Knockout:- Both Players must be from the same Club

 

D V L Mixed Pairs Knockout:- Pairs can be from any Club. The Club sending in the nominations are responsible for notifying the Competition Secretary which Club the Players are registered with and also responsible for collecting the entrance fees.

 

Lily Sparks and John Griffiths Memorial Trophies will be played on a Neutral Green selected by the Management Committee and there will be a fee of £8.00 per Team levied by the Neutral Club.

Teams qualifying for the Lily Sparks and John Griffiths Finals must forward their team selection in playing order together with a Team Photo to the Fixtures Secretary at least 7 days before the Date of the Final. 

If a Fixture in any round results in a draw then the Team Captains will each select a Player to play a new Game starting from the starting point and tossing a coin for the first throw of the Jack. The first Player to score 11 points will be the winner and secure the Match win for His/Her Team.
